Black to Basics

Hello my name is Grace Beraki, and I wear way too much black. Black is timeless, black is minimal, and black is a classic. Every piece that I'm wearing is a staple every girl should have in her wardrobe.  You can never go wrong with a simple black crop top, black high-waisted jeans, and a chic pair of black heels! You can get so many wears by layering, or mixing this simple top with other pieces. It can be dressed up with a statement piece such as a necklace, a nice jacket, or it can be kept casual like I did in this photo. This top is my go to when I'm running late, and I don't have time to put together an outfit. (Which happens more often than I'd like to admit.) My ripped jeans have a raw hem instead of a traditional one. Which by the way, I've been obsessed with! love that I've been seeing a lot of cut off denim this year. I like to wear mine with a black stiletto sandal, or any strap heel. This type of heel will make you look taller, and make your feet look dainty and slim. Black denim will make your outfit look relaxed, but still nice and "dressy".  The heel keeps it sleek and sophisticated. It's 2016. If you don't own a stiletto sandal then what are you doing with your life? Just kidding, but really girl, go get a pair! Be sure to grab this style heel in black and nude. They're essentials to your wardrobe. This is a minimal, everyday look that I love and it's very affordable!

I know that fringe is really big this Fall/Winter season, so I love wearing this cute fringe poncho. Who would have thought ponchos would make a comeback!

The duster is probably one of my favorite pieces that I own. It goes with absolutely everything! It's a great throw on to help keep your outfit modern and contemporary. I wear this duster with pants, shorts, and dresses.
