Curly Hair Meets August Streetstyle

Hey guys! I've been out of town so I haven't been able to post much while traveling. Sorry about that.

These photos are a little old, but I love this outfit so much I couldn't resist sharing!

If you couldn't already tell from previous posts, I love to mix dressy with sporty. For this look I took these casual sporty pieces and wore it with a pair of black mules for height and to give it a more dressier feel. My favorite thing about this Alexander Wang top is that it can be worn as a crop top with high-waisted denim pants or a skirt, or even as a sports bra.

I get asked what I do to my hair a lot, especially when it's curly. This was a wash and go day for me so I didn't have to do too much, but some days I have to put in more work than others. Winter Outfit to Try

Grey has for sure been the color (or the non-color) of the season, especially when it comes to outerwear. It's no longer depressing. Grey is a fashion color, signifying good taste. It has been sported by labels that celebrate off-duty chic. I paired this sophisticated coat with a fun, black lace-up bodysuit. As you've probably seen, lace up is the rage this Fall/Winter season. We saw them all over the runway. The denim of choice is a pair of waxed high-waisted jeans. The wax coating gives this dark washed jeans a more dressed up look. I actually was not sure about these jeans when I first saw them in the store, but my friend insisted that I try them on. Thank God I did because I absolutely love them! A lot of my friends who were with me also got this exact pair because of how great they made their legs look. I'm a huge fan of these jeans because they fit so well, they elongate my legs, and mostly because of how good these jeans make my butt look! Of course I'm wearing my favorite thigh high boots to complete the look. Now I just need New York to warm up ASAP! (Find out why in my next post!)
