Valentine's Day Look 2017

Happy V-Day lovelies!

I'm celebrating Valentine's Day in style with this blush crushed velvet dress and these chic Fenty socks. I absolutely love the sheer and fur combination. It's fun, flirty and adds a little spice to the look! I chose to wear an open toe sandal heel with these socks for a dainty elegant ensemble. To top the look, I wore a gold choker.

I love the idea of something flirtatious that doesn't scream cliché Valentine's Day. Red is so expected, which is why I love a blush or neutral tone dress. Non-traditional red and pink colors with a little romantic lace, silk, or sheer is the winning outfit combination for your first Valentine's Day with your bae.

Whether you're going out with your partner or your best friends, dress your best! There's no one right way to do Valentine's Day, and different agendas call for different outfits. Just remember, for whatever date-night festivities you have planned, what you wear on Valentine's Day should make you feel lovely because you truly are.

Thank you Justin for the awesome shots and thank you Lisa for doing my make up, and thanks for all the yummy snacks! Hehe y'all know I love to snack.

2016 American Music Award: Top 10 Best Dressed

The 44th Annual American Music Awards took place last night, November 20, 2016, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. For us fashion lovers this award ceremony means couture galore! There were so many fabulous looks (and so many not so fabulous looks), so we've narrowed down the top 10 best dressed at this year's 2016 AMA'S.
Keep scrolling down to see our favorites!

Hate her or love her, model and AMA's cohost, Gigi Hadid made the AMA's her fashion show! She slayed all 6 of her looks last night and that is why she's our #1 top choice this year.

(From left to right she's wearing: Julien MacDonald, Nicolas Jebran, Atelier Versace, Atelier Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Julien MacDonald.)
Teyana Taylor wore this off-the-shoulder sheer black lace gown by Steven Khalil that was to die for! She had on our favorite dress of the night!

Selena Gomez made a comeback in Prada and glittering diamond Cartier earrings. She looks amazing in this red custom princess dress.
Lady Gaga looking sleek and sexy in Brandon Maxwell.
Hailee Steinfeld looked gorgeous in an an embellished Elie Saab green romper with star motif details and an attached cape and EF Collection rings.
3. Taraji P. Henson pulling off an "effortless look" in this oversized Celine button down shirt and Jimmy Choo Sandals.
Ty Dolla Sign was our top choice for menswear at the AMA's.
The beautiful Zoe Zaldana in Monse.
Julianne Hough in Zuhair Murad.
James Bay, who preformed at the American Music Awards.

A Veiled Tale - Styled by Grace Beraki

Hi everyone! It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted. I've been so busy going to fashion school full-time, and working, so I apologize for that, but school comes first right now.

I usually share my personal style and outfits I've put together or designed, but today I want to show you more of what I do when I'm not creating personal looks. One of my creative works is styling for fashion editorials, bridal and lifestyle photo shoots, as well as wardrobe/clientele styling.

This shoot was so much fun to work on because I got to work with this dark fashion concept I'm really intrigued by. We wanted to do an editorial, but still keep it artistic and couture while going for a dark and alluring mood, so our model Kat was perfect for that. She has a beautiful, mysterious look to her. This romantic Gothic inspired style really came to life with the lace, sheer, tulle, and the rose crown. The jewelry chosen for this look is simple, but bold enough to capture the mood and help tell a story. The studded tears are my favorite!

This is a perfect outfit (minus the veil) to wear to an evening event, or for those days when you want to dress in all black.

We had an awesome team working on this vision, I've listed and linked everyone's name that worked on this photo shoot at the bottom of this post. Please feel free to leave a comment if you'd like to see more of my personal work similar to this
Have a great week!

I love that the model is not wearing just another flower crown, but a romantic red rose crown.

Model is wearing a black velvet strapless dress, with a sheer skirt underneath.

I randomly found this lace poncho with fringe trim at Sauna's Salon. I always keep an out for unique fashion finds no matter where I am. You'll never know what you'll find unless you look with an open mind.

Vintage Band Tee and Over The Knee Boots

Vintage Band Tees are my go to shirts when I want to be comfortable, but still express my style. I love this one in particular because it's so soft, has that worn out feel, and has a few tiny holes that give this shirt character and that vintage rugged feel. I layered this oversized denim shirt on top of my black tee because I love the rips and fraying on it. It gives the perfect off duty look.

Can we please focus on how cute these shoes are?!
I love, love, love over the knee boots, and especially these suede lace up boots with gold details. I got these boots a while ago during a holiday sale and never wore them because I forgot I had them. If the boots are a little too much for you, especially in the heel, then you can switch them out for a cute ankle boot, or even white converse. I personally like to wear things a little out of my comfort zone every now and then, it just makes life and being a girl more fun!!

This is a trending look that you can rock during the fall and summer, and the top is a classic piece to own!

Thank you Nisa for my hair and make up! The messy fish tail braid matched my ensemble perfectly, and kept my hair out of my face on this windy day! Also, thank you Adan for the shots!

  Braids and Bandanas

Hey y'all! I'm re-introducing the bandana since the accessory is far from being the new kid on the block. We've seen it in the 90s, on motorcycle gangs, punk rockers, and rock n’ roll icons, and American Western Cowboys. Today it's worn as a cute scarf.

My braids, bandanna scarf, and distressed denim pants definitely give off that western vibe, which I'm normally not into, but I loved these pieces together so much. I decided to add more modern pieces-a backless striped bodysuit, leather gold and chain belt, bucket bag, and these funky sandals to the outfit.

This is a perfect outfit to wear to a concert, festival or even just a casual day out like I wore here.

I usually don't wear anything backless but this knit body suit is so soft and comfy!

"Grace, don't get on the table" * Gets on table :) *

I love when Rob gets these candid shots.

This has nothing to do with this post, but I just wanted to share something that has really encouraged me, and that is to know that where you are right now is where you're supposed to be to get you to where you're going to be. I used to find myself stressing out about what school I should go to, where I should be in life, etc. It's funny because everything I wanted and the things I had planned for, life was like na, but it turns out that I'm happier where I am now than where I thought I wanted to be. I hope this encourages you wherever you are today.
